“what i know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have. and i’m especially proud, and inspired, by all the women who have felt strong enough and empowered enough to speak up and share their personal stories.” - oprah winfrey

Imani Parks-Williams is inspired by your dedication to healing and health.

She specializes in chronic depression, anxiety, and illness.

As a trauma therapist, she has witnessed individuals who have struggled with their identity, frequent mood imbalances, and post traumatic stress; her work as a therapist has included supporting individuals across a wide lifespan, and these diverse experiences and stories have amplified her passion for quality healthcare. Her approach to counseling is rooted in existential therapy which helps people understand and address their struggles by making meaning throughout.

Imani received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Haven, and is continuing her doctoral studies in Counseling Psychology at Springfield College. She values social justice, and hopes her clinical work and research will increase access to mental health care within the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.

Imani welcomes you to come to sessions with curiosity about the self, and an openness to create and explore further as a team.
