Lauren nourishes your healing journey with the utmost care.
She specializes in womxn and caregivers with trauma.
Lauren has been providing trauma-informed therapy to adults and families for over 10 years. She enjoys working with womxn and caregivers who want to explore and heal from early childhood trauma, and supporting folx in understanding and navigating how trauma patterns influence their present lives. More specifically, Lauren’s years of clinical experience, formal training from Smith College, along with continued work in TF-CBT and other psychodynamic modalities, give a her a foundation that comes from a place of understanding.
She understands that people are beautifully complex - and when we are met with life stressors like family or relational trauma, pregnancy, potentially traumatic birth experiences, or caring for young children, Lauren wants to be there to make your emotional wellbeing the focus.
Lauren is kind, compassionate, and gently curious - with that she invites you to her passion of doing the whole therapy thing (even if it feels a little scary)!
And while you await your time with her, know that she will absolutely be enjoying nature with her partner + children + and goofy dogs somewhere on the beach collecting sea glass!
